Yearly Schedule
We follow a traditional 10 month academic calendar. We are closed for Winter break, Spring break and a several weeks in the Summer along with a few federal holidays.
Transitions
We believe it's beneficial for students to have a transition phase before moving into a full time schedule in the beginning of the school year. This well-planned approach will ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.
Toddler
The first two days of the school year, toddler students will spend an hour in the classroom with one parent or guardian. The first full week, toddler students will independently explore the classroom with a 1:00 PM pick-up schedule. The school schedule will resume as normal after the initial transition period.

Primary
Primary students will begin their year with a 1:00 PM pick-up schedule for the first initial days.
A Child's Day
Morning Drop-Off
We begin our days on the playground (weather permitting) or we begin our day in the classroom with free play activities.

Morning Gathering
The class as a whole will gather together to participate in a circle time gathering. During this time we sing together, share our stories and build lasting connections through these group experiences. Children transition to the morning work cycle after the morning gathering.

Morning Work Cycle
During the morning work cycle, children have the freedom to choose from a variety of materials from each section of the classroom. Children have the opportunity to work with a teacher, independently and with other friends in the classroom.
The Outdoor Classroom is also open during this time. Children can freely bring their work to the outdoor classroom space.

Spanish Enrichment
Spanish enrichment materials are incorporated into the areas of the classroom. Our Spanish teacher hosts enriching circle gatherings throughout the week. Through songs, games, hands on activities and enriching lessons children learn and practice Spanish vocabulary. These lessons are catered to all ages in our program. Additionally, our dedicated Spanish instructor visits the primary classrooms daily to provide personalized support, working with students both in groups and individually.

Music Enrichment
Music enrichment is an exciting part of our curriculum, where students explore a wide range of musical instruments, genres, and songs. This program allows children to engage with different instruments, learn new melodies, and even create their own rhythms and songs. It's a fantastic opportunity for creativity and expression, enhancing their overall learning experience. We believe that music plays a vital role in a child's development and school experience.

Outdoor Play
Our large outside space provides many opportunities for outdoor learning and explorations.

Lunch
Lunch follows outdoor play time. Plates, utensils, water glasses and a microwave are provided for children during the lunch as needed.

Nap/Rest Time & Afternoon Activities
The lights are turned down and quiet music is playing. Younger children will take a nap. Non nappers will rest for a short time while reading books or using quiet activities. Kindergarten aged children and older resters will have the opportunity to participate in an afternoon work time with a teacher.

Full Day Pick-up
During this time the full day children are picked up for the day while others stay for the extended day program.

Extended Day
The extended day class participates in prepared crafts, themed projects and outdoor activities.
